License Monitor
The License Monitor is a centralized interface that enables organizations to track software license usage and expiration efficiently. It provides near real-time visibility into license consumption and renewal schedules, helping teams make informed decisions, reduce downtime, and maintain compliance.
By consolidating license data in one place, License Monitor delivers key benefits such as real-time usage tracking, centralized visibility, improved license oversight, and timely renewal planning.
The interface is divided into two main components:
-
License Expiry - Tracks upcoming license expirations and shows license validity status.
-
License Usage - Displays real-time license utilization, availability, usage trends, and denials.
These views work together to help users stay ahead of licensing issues and ensure continued access to critical applications.
License data is collected on a scheduled basis, with updates occurring in near real-time. The frequency of data collection may vary depending on system configuration and settings.
Newly installed Core Clients may take up to 5 minutes to appear in the GUI after sending data to the server.
If the expected data is missing after this period, verify that the client is properly configured and that its services are running.
License Monitor is designed for IT administrators, license managers, and compliance officers responsible for managing software licenses across the organization.
