Clients
The Clients page provides a comprehensive overview of all connected Open iT Core Clients, displaying essential information such as hostnames, IP addresses, operating system details, client versions, and timestamp of recent activity. This page allows the administrator to monitor client configurations, verify connection status, and track which machines are actively communicating with the server. It is particularly useful for ensuring consistent client deployments, identifying discrepancies, and exporting client data for analysis or troubleshooting.
Newly installed Core Clients may take up to 5 minutes to appear in the GUI after sending data to the server.
If a client doesn’t show up after this period, review the Core Client Installation Verification section to ensure services are running properly.
Parts of the Clients Page
a. Export to CSV - This allows you to export all the data into CSV format. Once clicked, data will automatically be downloaded.
b. Clients Details - This displays the information about the clients. The table information includes the following columns: Hostname, IP, Version, Architecture, OS, Modules, First Seen, and Last Seen. The details of any one of the titles may be sorted in ascending or descending order.
c. Table toolbar - This allows you to do quick controls for interacting with the client list.
