Labeling

Inline Labeling

Inline labeling offers a straightforward way to assign labels to specific vendor licenses and/or applications.

To assign labels using inline labeling:

  1. In the Data Labels table, look for the items desired to assign labels. Use the Vendor License and Feature columns which contain the raw names.

    NOTE

You may use the Search or Show/Hide Filter components to achieve this.

  2. In the associated Label: Vendor License or Label: Feature columns, double-click the table cell. This will transform the cell into a textbox.

  3. Provide the desired label to assign.

  4. Click Enter to save.

Import Labeling

This feature allows you to import a predefined CSV (comma-separated values) file that contains valid mappings of vendor licenses and applications to their corresponding labels.

To import a file:

  1. Click IMPORT CSV. This will open a browser window that can be used to browse the file desired to import.

    NOTE

The file should contain the following columns separated with commas.

    File Snippet
    vendor_license,label_vendor_license,feature,label_feature
    "gal02077,gal02078,gal02079;tecno","Emplant [gal02077,gal02078,gal02079]",PRD_EMPCOMMANDCONTROL,

Make sure that when an item contains white spaces or commas, enclose it with double quotation marks ("").

  2. Click Open. This will automatically process and load the contents of the file to the Data Labels table.
