Deployment Overview
Requirements
Open iT’s integration with ServiceNow uses components of the Base Enterprise technology platform for data collection.
Before deployment, make sure you have:

Access credentials to the Open iT Shared Software Assets Directory (SSAD)

Coordinate with your Open iT Account Manager or the Open iT Support Team at support@openit.com to get your access credentials.

This is required during the Core Server installation.
warningYou can manually set up and activate your SSAD access after Core Server installation.

Installed and properly configured Open iT Core Client(s) connected to an Open iT Core Server or a coexistent Open iT Core setup

Installed and properly configured Open iT Analysis Server
Guidelines
Follow these steps to deploy the Open iT integration to ServiceNow.

Install the Open iT LicenseAnalyzer (ServiceNow Store Application).
noteTake note of the ServiceNow Instance URL and the credentials for authentication and communication.

Install the ServiceNow Adapter on a server running Open iT Analysis Server.

Complete the ServiceNow Adapter Post-Installation Configuration.
